To change an item's outline type, back, and fill color in the Display Settings dialog box, point to the item, right-click, and select Display Settings.

In the Color pane of the Item tab, click the Outline arrow and choose the new color. |

Change color of the back of the item |
In the Color pane of the Item tab, click the Back of items arrow and choose the new color. |

Change the fill color of the item |
In the Color pane of the Item tab, click the Fill arrow and choose the new fill color. |

Change the outline type of the item (solid line, dashed line, dotted line, etc.) |
In the Outline pane of the Item tab, click the arrow above the color drop- down list and choose the new outline type. |

Display/hide the item's label and change its settings |
Use the Item pane in the Item tab. |

Display/hide dimensions for the current item |
Use the Dimensions tab. |

Retrieve the previous display settings for this item |
In the Item tab, click Use default Display Settings. |
