If the sales tax options in the Design Charges tab do not suit your needs, you can edit these options for the current design. It is important to note that the modified sales tax will affect the current design pricing only. You need to modify the sales tax record in the manufacturer’s catalog for all designs to be priced according to this sales tax by default.
Complete the following steps to edit a sales tax in the Design Charges tab of the Styles & Pricing dialog box:
-
Select a sales tax option from the Sales Tax Value list.
-
Select the Sales tax row and click Edit.
-
In the General tab of the Attributes dialog box, change the Usercode and Description fields to reflect the new tax. For example, enter TAX7 in the Usercode field and 7% Tax in the Description field.
-
In the Variables tab of the Attributes dialog box, select the Price pane.
-
Change the Tax Value field to the percentage of your sales tax. For example, to obtain a 7% tax, enter 700.00 %.
-
Click OK in the Attributes dialog box, then click Close in the Styles & Pricing dialog box.
