Assign Specific model and price to countertops or trims

The Assign Specific command allows you to change a countertop or trim model and price. The model does not change graphically on the design, but displays what you changed in the Item List. You can also use this option to assign a model and price to a linear and surface item add-on, such as a cut, cutout, cutoff, edge, cap, radius corner, or radius end. The price of assigned add-ons appears only in the Calculated Items section of the Item List and not on reports.

A linear item may contain these add-ons: corner cut, initial cut, and end cut . A surface item may contain these add-ons: cutout, cut, end cap, cutoff, radius corner, radius end, front edge, and back edge. By default, add-ons are not assigned any model/price. When you assign a specific model/price to an add-on, the price appears in the Calculated Items tab of the Item List.

Complete the following steps to use the Assign Specific command:

1. Point to the countertop or trim, right-click, and select Assign Specific.
   The Assign Specific dialog box opens.
   
    

2. In the Part Name List pane, select the section number or add-on (corner, initial, or end cut) that you want to assign a specific model and price to.
   
    

3. In the Available Selections pane, select a catalog and then select the model that you want to assign to the section or cut.
   
    

4. Click Assign to confirm your selection and then click Close.
