A crosshatch pattern appears if you have made a modification to a stone countertop that causes it to exceed the maximum slab size. Complete the following steps to correct this and add a cut:
-
Point to the countertop and right-click, point to the Section #, and select Add Cut or Automatic Cut from the pop-up menu.
Note: Automatic Cut is available only if you deleted an automatic cut generated by the Wizard. -
Move the cut line to the new position and click to set. The countertop no longer has a hatch pattern.
Complete the following steps if a diagonal hatch pattern appears:
-
Point to the countertop, right-click, and select Validate.
-
The Countertop Wizard opens and indicates the information that needs to be rectified. Click here for instructions on using the Countertop Wizard.
-
When finished, click Finish in the Wizard. The countertop no longer displays a hatch pattern.
