Heat rods are metal stands with short feet that are inserted within the countertop next to a sink and/or cooking element to protect counters from hot dishes, pots, and pans. Rods are only sold by specific manufacturers. They are not represented graphically on designs, but are priced on reports.
If you did not use a Solid Surface material that requires heat rods, click Next.
If you used a Solid Surface material and heat rods are required for your sink and/or cooking element, complete the following steps:

Select Heat Rods from the left pane of the Countertop Wizard.

Click Add.

To add another trivet rod, click the Add button again; otherwise, click Next.
Note: To delete a trivet rod, select it and click the Delete button.
