Share your design with others in real-time – Design

Available exclusively in Design Live from version 13.1

Live Share allows designers to interact remotely and instantly with their customers by giving them access to their renderings for viewing via a URL link.

Here is an overall look at some of the key steps in using Live Share:

Get feedback from your customer.
Make changes in the Design Live application.
Update your changes by clicking the Design Live Share button and let your customer access the live results of your presentation via their web browser.

Open the design that you want to share.
In the PRESENTATION ribbon, click Perspective View to create a rendering in perspective view.
Go to the RENDER ribbon and click the Design Live Share button.
You will be prompted with a dialog box like the one shown below. Click Open Link to open the current image in your default web browser.
To send your client the web page link, click Copy Link. Open your email tool and paste the URL into the message before you send it. You can also paste a link into a web browser or a document.
Click OK when finished.

NOTE: Each time you move within the image (zoom, pan, or change the view orientation), click the Design Live Share button in the RENDER tab to update your changes in the current web browser.

NOTE: Once created, the link remains available to the customer for a period of 48 hours and does not require Design Live to be opened at the same time in order for the last provided image to be accessed and viewed.
