The Stretch/Crop command allows you to stretch or crop a section of linear or surface items, such as countertops and moldings.
Complete the following steps to use the Stretch/Crop command:
- Point to the item that you want to stretch or crop, right-click, and select Edit Shape.
- A point inside the surface item or near the linear item, right-click, and select Stretch/Crop from the Item Menu.
- Select a line to indicate the first boundary beyond which there will be no stretching or cropping. The direction for stretching or cropping is always parallel to the selected line.
- Select the second boundary beyond which there will be no stretching or cropping.
- Move the pointer in the direction opposite to the first boundary line to stretch/crop the area bound by both lines and click to set the new dimensions, or enter a value in the Placement Box and press ENTER. The areas outside the boundary lines are not altered.
