add items to an Idea Center library by dragging items from the Work area to the Local Browser.
To display the local browser, click Local Browser in the View ribbon. If the background of the Local Browser button is yellow, the list is already open.
When placing items from the Local Browser list onto the Work area, use any of the following options:
When you find the item that you need, drag it onto the Work area (Floor Plan, Elevation or Item List). Use the scroll bar, the arrow keys, or the PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN keys to consult sublists. |
You can add several local browsers and customize each one; one may show cabinets, another bathroom accessories, and so on. |
Using the Quick Search area, enter codes to list items that begin with the same code. The more characters that you add to your search, the narrower the list becomes. Once you see the item that you want, select it to display its catalog location in the history of selections area. |
The Local Browser list is linked to the Information box where you can see an image of the selected item. |
The Local Browser contains four areas: Catalog Selection, History of Selections, Item Selection, and Quick Search.
You can dock (pin) the Local Browser list to any side of the screen or leave it floating. See Dockable Components for more information.
To group catalogs under a specific name, move catalogs up/down and/or hide catalogs in the Local Browser, see Catalog settings in Preferences.
