Drag and drop an item manually with the Local Browser
Complete the following steps to select items from the Local Browser:

In the View ribbon, click Local Browser.

If necessary, select a new catalog from the list.

Double-click <Categories> to display the categories of available items (for example, Base, Base Corner).

Double-click a category to show all available models.

Double-click until you reach the item level. Use the scroll arrows or the Page Up and Page Down keys to consult the sub-lists.
You can select an item when a greater than symbol (>) appears in front of the item. -
To place an item, select it and then drag it toward the Work area. The cursor changes to this shape: .

Drag the item to the required location. The cursor changes according to the location on the Work area, as follows:

If you drag the item to a wall/construction line, the cursor becomes a magnet:

If you drag the item to a corner (regular items, not corner items), the cursor becomes a double magnet:

If you drag the item to the floor space, the cursor becomes a four-direction arrow

When you cannot drop the item in unauthorized areas of the screen, the cursor looks like this:
