WARNING: Before modifying a backsplash, make sure you are completely finished editing any countertop that touches any of the backsplash lines. If you edit a backsplash and then change a countertop that touches it, the backsplash will be reset to its default.
Complete the following steps to modify a backsplash:
-
Display the Elevation area of the wall where the backsplash is located.
-
Complete any of the following actions:
-
To edit a backsplash, point to the backsplash, right-click, and select Surface Item.
-
To edit a backsplash line, point to the line, right-click, and select a command from the Line menu. The Line commands for a backsplash work the same way as the line commands for a countertop.
-
To edit a backsplash point, select the point, right-click, and select a command from the Point menu. The Point commands for a backsplash work the same way as the point commands for a countertop.
-
To edit a cut line, point to the cut line and right-click, point to Cut Line, and select a command from the Cut Line menu. The Cut Line commands for a backsplash work the same way as the cut line commands for a countertop. This menu is only available when you edit a Stone material backsplash cut line that is added manually.
-
To edit an arc, point to the arched line and right-click, point to Arc, and select a command from the Arc menu. The Arc commands for a backsplash work the same way as the arc commands for a countertop.
-
To edit a section, point to the backsplash and right-click, point to the Section #, and select a command from the Section # menu. The Section commands for a backsplash work the same way as the section commands for a countertop.
-
Note: After modifying a stone backsplash, if the edited backsplash cannot be manufactured (exceeds the slab size), a crosshatched pattern appears. You will need to add a cut in this case.
