Whether you automatically add countertops and trims or place them manually, you can set default overhang values.
Before you change the side or end overhangs, you should understand the following terminology:
-
Countertop side overhang - Extra counter length between two cabinets of different heights and/or depths.
-
Countertop end overhang - Extra counter length at the extremity of a cabinet.
- Soffit end overhang - Extra length at the extremity of a soffit.
To change these settings, in the FILE menu, select Preferences. In the Preferences dialog box, select the Overhang Values pane.
