The base point of an item is the anchor point that the program uses for commands, such as Rotate. The base point of an item is usually the upper-left point on the back of the item. Consider the following example:
To change the base point, point to the item, right-click, and select Set Base Point.
To set the base point of the item in the lower-right corner, select the corresponding point, as shown in the following figure.
Add a point
You can add a point to a shape to change the shape's appearance.
Complete the following steps to add a point to a shape:

Point to or near one of the lines of the shape, right-click, and select Add Point.
An outline of the point appears. -
Move the point to the new location and click to set.
The new point is added. -
To change the form of the shape, select the point that you just added and drag it until you obtain the required shape.
Edit a point
The Point commands allow you to edit the shape of linear and surface items in the Floor Plan or Elevation area.
To access the Point Menu, select a point and right-click.
