How to migrate your catalogs and transfer your custom textures when upgrading to a new Design Live version
If you are using file-data catalogs and you are planning to upgrade to a new Design Live or Design Flex version, you do not need to install all your catalogs again from scratch.
The Design Data Migrator will allow you to move or copy the catalogs into your new version, which can be accomplished in 4 easy steps:
- Download the Design Data Migrator:
- Click on Edit Source to select the location of the catalogs.

Make sure the file path to your Destination catalogs is correct.

Choose either Move or Copy.
Note: Once the catalogs have been migrated, a very important process will take place: Update Catalog Data Base. This process will verify the integrity of the database to make sure all the catalog components were successfully migrated.
