How to move items with arrow keys

To move at a preset distance of 12"

1. In the Floor Plan or Elevation area, select the item or group of items you want to move.
   
   
2. Press one of the arrow keys repeatedly until the item reaches the desired position.
   In the example below, the user pressed the right arrow key once to move the selected item at a distance of 12".  

To move at a preset distance of 1" 

1. In the Floor Plan or Elevation area, select the item or group of items you want to move.
   
   
2. Press and hold down the SHIFT key, and then click one of the arrow keys repeatedly until the item reaches the desired position.
   
   In the example below, the user pressed the right arrow key once to move the selected item at a distance of 1" to the right.
   
   
   
   
3. If you need to change the parameters of the arrow movement settings, refer to the Work Area preferences: File menu - Preferences - Work Area pane.  Under the Item Move with Arrow Keys header, make the required changes.
