Updates to the NKBA Floor Plan tab
The following modifications have been made to the NKBA Floor Plan tab. We have:

Laid out the dimensions to reflect more closely the industry standards:

Dimension group for the overall wall dimensions.

Dimension group for the centerlines of appliances, sinks, and accessories.

Dimension group for usable cabinet space.

Changed the background grid color.

Changed the dimension fonts.
Improve your custom elevations with a new scheme added to the scheme list
Complete the following steps to add a new scheme to a custom elevation:

Add Custom Elevation in the ROOM LAYOUT ribbon.

Point to the custom elevation, right click, and select Display Settings.

In the Display Settings for All dialog box, select (Custom Elevation) from the Scheme list.
Improve your side elevations with a new scheme added to the scheme list
Complete the following steps to add a new scheme to a side elevation:

Click Add Side Elevation in the ROOM LAYOUT ribbon.

Point to the side elevation, right-click, and select Displays settings.

In the Display Settings for All dialog box, select Side Elevation from the Scheme list.
Change the orientation of labels in your drawings
Change the orientation of your labels quickly with these two new label buttons added to the Annotations tab.
New numbering representation for the legend items and add-ons
With this new default setting, add-ons are displayed under their respective items and numbers are enumerated in nested list. See examples in the screen captures below:
An add-on is an item that is attached to another item, such as a back panel attached to a cabinet.
To revert back to the original display, see an example and procedure in the following capture.
Choose the right line type for your items, dimensions, and 2D shapes

It is now possible to change the line type of all the draw items in the Annotations tab, including lines and 2D shapes.
Center line improvements
Automatic center lines of items now have a specific line type and an associated center line symbol (see screen captures below).
The center lines can be further configured through the Dimension tab of the Display Settings dialog box.
The Continuous center section located in the Display Settings dialog box allow you to show the center line of items placed along the walls with the center line symbol (CL) when the Symbol check box is selected.

SketchUp 3DWarehouse Connect
You must now sign into Trimble 3D Warehouse™ to download models in Design (see screen capture below).
Trimble 3D Warehouse™ lets you choose from a large online database of free SketchUp™ models to further enhance your designs. You can also import 3D models into Design in several other recognized file formats. The Trimble 3D Warehouse browser is resizable. It can be minimized and maximized.
If you are not yet a registered Trimble 3D Warehouse user, you can quickly and easily create an account by clicking the Create Account button in the GET STARTED ON 3D WAREHOUSE section.
