User Textures are now available on Decorative items from the Cloud - Personalize items from the Cyncly Decorative catalog in the Cloud Browser. Textures can now be applied from the attributes window where you can leverage Catalog Textures, Cloud Textures, Texture in Current Design or your own textures that you’ve uploaded into the User Texture Library.
-
New rendering engine: Cycles (Beta) - The Cycles rendering engine is now available! Once turned on from the preferences dialog, you’ll find improved speed and higher quality renderings. This new rendering engine requires a dedicated GPU the spec can be seen here.
View full screen in a new tab.
In Beta, you have access to the most used rendering features.
Please note: Cycles will continue to improve. Here are a few things to consider:
- For best rendering results, we recommend drawing a closed room when possible. Click here to learn more about how to achieve the best rendering results.
- When preparing a final presentation, we recommend launching a high-quality rendering.
-
Additional features that will be available in a future release:
- Publish 360 (360 panoramic views are still available but will not be rendered with Cycles yet)
- Textures with Edges rendering mode
- Light emission from cloud lights (light sources are available from the local browser)
- When artificial light intensity is on, you may experience additional ceiling lights. You can work around this by dialing artificial lights to the lowest setting.
-
Export/Import User Preferences - Display settings are important to clearly document your design details. You can save your preferred display settings as schemes to make them accessible in other drawings. Now, you can export all your display settings at once (floor plan schemes and elevation schemes) to quickly apply them to a new computer or share them with your design team. For more information click here.
-
New API for magicplan - You can now enter the API key for magicplan into your preferences dialog and import plans directly into Design. For more information click here.
-
Stability - This update includes bug fixes and performance improvements. Here are some of the most requested fixes.
-
More flexibility - Minimum and maximum defaults offer a greater range of sizes to change your decorative items from the cloud.
-

New reports available on the Flex platform - Based on customer feedback, we have added 2 new reports on Flex. You can view all open quotations per design in a report that can be filtered by timeframe, salesperson, or shop. The second report shows all quotation stages with the same filters, allowing you to see how many projects are in each stage of the project cycle.

-
Option to bulk delete Projects on the Flex platform - You can select multiple projects in the Project list by ticking the checkbox next to each project name. In the Project board, hold the ctrl key to select multiple projects, you will see the option to Delete Project in the toolbar. If the Delete Project option is greyed out, it means one or more of the projects selected has a status that cannot be deleted. For more information, click here.
-
Improved reports to allow custom timeframe as a filter option - All reports allowed a date timeframe to be applied, this has been improved with the option to customize the timeframe. Under the option Period select Custom Date, this will open the option Custom Date in the toolbar. Here you can use the calendar to select a start and end date of your choosing.
-
Add, edit or, delete Spaces within a Project on the Flex platform - Previously you could add a new Space when adding a new Design on the Flex platform. We have made an improvement to enable you to better manage your projects on the Flex platform by adding the functionality to edit a Space name or even delete it (only if there are no designs assigned to the space). These options can be found under the more options icon
next to the space name.
-
New KPI widget on the Dashboard - Based on your feedback we have made improvements to the KPI's available in the dashboard.
