Launch of EZ Render and Rendering Effects
EZ Render is now out of beta phase and officially launched (available exclusively in Design Live).
Design Live now includes a new rendering engine called EZ Render. Designed to maximize efficiency and quality of your designs, EZ Render will automatically apply and calibrate lighting and true material finishes with one click.
EZ Render Benefits:
-
Creation of high-quality renderings in a fraction of the time (up to 80% faster).
-
No more adding and adjusting lighting to try and get a realistic rendering.
-
Better looking renderings (nicer colors and finishes, better white balance).
Rendering Effects - Artistic Filters
The new artistic filters allow the user to render a variety of hand-drawn or stylized effects.
They include Canvas, Cartoon, Halftone, Hatched, Median Edge, Paper, Pencil, Photocopy, and Sepia.
The following are a few examples of what you can achieve with artistic filters:
Rendering Effects - Post Process
We have integrated cool post processing effects that will enable you to adjust the brightness, contrast, Shadows/Highlights, Color Temperature, and saturation of the rendered image.
As you can see in the illustration below no rendering effect adjustments were applied to the design (see Post-Process section):
In the example illustrated below, rendering effect adjustments have been applied to the design (see the slider bars in the Post-Process section and image):
