Assign a Global Style

If the catalogs that you use are style-driven, use the Global Style Selections dialog box to select all of the cabinetry components for your design. Examples of style-driven components include cabinet door style and color, and handle style and color.

Note: To use this feature, your manufacturer’s catalog must contain Style information.

Complete the followings steps to assign a Global Style before you start placing cabinets on the layout:

1. In the ITEMS ribbon, click Styles  to open the Global Style Selections dialog box.
   
   

2. Select a catalog from the Catalog list.
   
   

3. Select the required global style (door style) from the Global style selected list.
   
   

4. The Style Types and Style Information (cabinetry components) for the Global style are displayed in a grid. For instructions on changing the preset Style Info or Style Info Description for one or more components, see Change components for one cabinet and Change quantities, style or position of a component.

Cell name	Description
Style Type	Number (group code) assigned to a specific Style Type, e.g., 101, 150, 206.
Style Type Description	Description assigned to a specific Style Type, e.g., Front-colors, Sidefinish-finishing, Pulls.
Style Info	Alphanumeric code (user code) assigned to a specific Style Info, e.g., 01, H, 070.
Style Info Description	Description assigned to a specific Style Info, e.g., Vanilla, Veneer, Level, Handle Chrome.
