1 - Access the SketchUp 3D Warehouse™ via 3D Warehouse™ and log in or create your account.
2 - Use the search bar to locate the desired item.
Note: Review the object's size and polygon count to avoid overloading your design file. Also check its units of measure. This information can be seen in the model information which is accessed by double clicking on the Sketchup model image.
3 - Select the item you wish to download.
4 - Click on the download icon and choose the SketchUp file option:
5 - Once the file is downloaded, open the Design Flex program.
6 - Navigate to File > Import > From Local Storage.
7 - Select the file type as .SKP and locate your 3D model usually found in your downloads folder.
8 - When importing, you will be prompted to select the scale measurement unit. Note: It is essential to choose the same unit of measurement as originally used in SketchUp to preserve the model's original scale:
9 - Please wait for the progress bar to complete; this process may take several minutes:
10 - Click in the Design Floor Plan to add the item.
11 - Move the item to the new location and click to set the item.
12 - To retrieve the item, make sure to save the current .kit file or save the item to an idea library using the Local Browser.
