To change the light properties of any item with a light source, such as a refrigerator, range, lamp, or spotlight, point to the item, right-click, and select Light Properties.

Change the light intensity |
Select the new Intensity from the list. Choices range from Off to 120 watts. |

Change the falloff angle of a recessed spot |
Click the Cone Angle button. Click the black line and move the pointer to change the angle opening of the spot, then click outside the button to set. |

Select a different color for the light |
Click the Color box and choose the new color. To choose from the Windows color palette, click Other and set the new color. |

Change the orientation of a recessed spot (direction in which the light will project) |
Click the Position button, move the circle outline to the new orientation position, and click to set. |

Assign a physical light by choosing among 30 IES (Illuminating Engineering Society) profiles. IES profiles are files that describe the overall spread of light in space for a specific light source. |
Click the arrow button and choose a profile with its preview window. |
