Edit a line

To access the Line Menu, point to a line and right-click.

 

You can use the Line Menu commands to edit the shape of a linear or surface item in Floor Plan and in Elevation.


Delete a Line

Complete the following steps to use the Delete command:

  1. Point to the surface or linear item that you want to modify, right-click, and select Edit Shape.

  2. Point to a line, right-click, and select Delete from the Line Menu.

Move and intersect a line

Complete the following steps to use the Move & Intersect command:

  1. Point to the surface or linear item that you want to modify, right-click, and select Edit Shape.

  2. Point to a line, right-click, and select Move & Intersect from the Line Menu.

  3. Drag the line to change the intersection and click to set the new position and shape, or enter values in the Placement box and press ENTER.

Extrude a Line

Complete the following steps to use the Extrude command:  

  1. Point to the surface or linear item, right-click, and select Edit Shape.

  2. Point to a line, right-click, and select Extrude from the Line Menu.

  3. Click the line to display the point from which you will extrude.

  4. Move the point to the required location and click to begin the indentation.

  5. Move the point to assign the length and depth of the indentation and click to confirm.
    Note: You can also enter your values in the Placement box and press ENTER.
