How to add a line
The Line command allows you to draw a line on the Floor Plan or Elevation area to point to specific items. For example, you may want to draw a line to point from an item to a note.
Complete the following steps to use the Line command:

In the Annotations ribbon, click Line

In the Floor Plan or Elevation area, click to indicate the start position of the line.

Drag the pointer to draw the line and click to stop drawing.
How to add an arrow
The Arrow command allows you to draw an arrow on the Floor Plan or Elevation area to point to specific items. For example, you may want to draw an arrow to point from an item to a note.
Complete the following steps to use the Arrow command:
- In the Annotations ribbon, click Arrow
- In the Floor Plan or Elevation area, click to indicate the start position of the arrow.
- Drag the pointer to draw the arrow and click to stop drawing.
Double headed arrow
You can change an arrow to a double headed arrow by following the steps below:
- Select the arrow
- Right click and select Edit
- Tick the box for Tail arrow
- Click OK
If Ortho mode is enabled in the Work Area toolbar, the line will move in 45-degree increments as you draw.
