Complete the following steps to add decorative items to your design:

In the ITEMS ribbon, click the Miscellaneous Items button
The Miscellaneous Items dialog box opens.
Alternatively, you can select a miscellaneous item from the ROOM catalogs in the Local Browser. -
In the Miscellaneous Items dialog box, select the catalog, category, and subcategory.

Select an item and click Place.
Note: If you are adding this item to the Item List, the item is added with this symbolto indicate it is a nonplan item.

To place the item on a wall/construction line, select the corresponding placement zone.
To place the item diagonally in a corner, select the diagonal line separating the two placement zones.
To add a freestanding item, select the floor area.
To add an item on top of another item or to place wall tiles and other similar wall items, use the Elevation area. -
If you no longer want to place this item, press ESC.
If you want to place the item, position the item and click to set the location, or type values in the Placement box and press ENTER.
You can also select the item and choose a command from the right-click menu to move an item in/out on the Floor Plan, pull the item up/down in an Elevation area, or to rotate it when it is freestanding. -
Click Close to close the Miscellaneous Items dialog box.
