You can move an item to a new location by selecting dragging the item and dragging it, or by using the Move command on the Home ribbon.
If the item is on a wall/construction line, make sure Disable placement zone drag setting is selected in Preferences before moving the item.
Complete the following steps to move an item using the Move command:

In the Floor Plan or Elevation area, select the item that you want to move.

In the Home ribbon, click the Move button
Alternatively, you can point to the item, right-click, and select Move.
If you move an item to a wall or a construction line, you can right-click to pull it in/out on the Floor Plan or up/down in the Elevation area; right-click again to drag the item.
If you move an item to the floor area, it becomes a freestanding item and you can move it around, right-click to rotate it, and right-click again to move it. To snap a freestanding item/group to another item on the floor area, click near the alignment line of the other item. The items will snap based on the specified Snap distance. -
Click to set the final position.
