Choose which view modes must be available in the Information box and in the Attributes dialog box.

Set a default texture size for all images (Small, Medium, Large).

Assign default lighting effects and quality level for renderings.

To access the Rendering Performance module, in the FILE menu, select Preferences.

In the Preferences dialog box, select Rendering Performance.

Click Redway 3d option. Options available in Redway 3d mode:

Enable or disable the hardware graphics acceleration mode when generating renderings. |
If you do not want to use graphics when you generate renderings, make sure the check box 'Use hardware graphics acceleration if available' is unselected (Rendering Engine section, under Redway 3d option). |
Enable or disable view modes (hidden lines, wireframe, color or texture). |
In the Item View Settings pane, under Default view mode header, select the Information check box for options that you want to keep or clear the check boxfor items that you want to remove from the default view. |

Redway 3d Change the light distribution or diffusion levels for your renderings |
In the Rendering pane, move the slider bar to set the Ambient light level. When you increase the ambient light, the room becomes uniformly brighter, but this tends to reduce photo-realism. |
EZ Render (available exclusively in 2020 Design Live) Change the Artificial and/or Natural/Realistic light level for your renderings. |
In the Lighting pane, move the slider bar to set the Artificial light level (light effects along walls). In the Lighting pane, move the slider bar to set the Natural/Realistic light level (natural light coming in through windows and doors). When you increase the light intensity, the room becomes uniformly brighter, but this tends to reduce photo-realism. |
Let the system determine the best lighting for your renderings.

For Redway 3d mode: * In the Rendering pane, select an Auto light wattage. Ambient light and Ceiling light need to be set to off or low when using Auto light.

For EZ Render mode: * NOTE: When you select EZ Render, Auto light, Ceiling light, and Global Illumination are carried out automatically by the 2020 Design Live system. |

In the Rendering pane, click the Mode drop-down list and select an option. |
EZ Render et Redway 3d: To display any rendering in hidden lines when clicking the real-time icon. You can change this preference in the rendering. This saves rendering time. |
In the Rendering pane, select the Force hidden lines in real time mode check box. |
