If you are experiencing issues when rendering using Cycles or EZ Render, the problem may be related to the optimization of your NVIDIA graphics driver.
The first step is to verify whether your computer has an NVIDIA graphics card. Follow the steps below to check:
Right-click on the taskbar at the bottom of your screen and select Task Manager, or press Ctrl + Shift + Esc.
Go to the Performance tab (click More details if you do not see it).
You should see the manufacturer and model of your graphics card. If it shows NVIDIA, then your computer is using an NVIDIA graphics card.
If your computer has an NVIDIA graphics card, there are two methods you can use to optimize it for use with Design.
Close the Design software if it is currently open.
Launch Cyncly Maintenance Tools.
In the Windows Start menu search bar, type Maintenance Tools 14 and press Enter. In the Maintenance Tools window, locate System Check Utility, right-click it, and select Run Nvidia Driver Fix.
Close Cyncly Maintenance Tools and reopen Design.
Open your design and generate a Perspective View to verify if the issue is resolved.
Right-click on an empty area of your Windows Desktop and select Show more options > NVIDIA Control Panel.
In the left panel, expand 3D Settings and click Manage 3D settings, then open the Program Settings tab.
Under Select a program to customize, select design.exe. If it is not listed, click Add and browse to the Design installation folder to add it.
Note: The default Design installation folder is:C:\Program Files\Cyncly\Design\14\Bin\System
In the settings list, locate OpenGL compatibility and change it to Prefer compatible.
Repeat the same process for lerendu.exe, then click Apply to save the changes.
After applying the changes, restart Design to ensure the new graphics settings are applied.
The fix should be applied, and the issue should be resolved. If the problem persists or you have any further questions, please contact our support team at 866-697-2020. Our agents will be happy to help!
