If you see the following message when opening a design file, here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

1 - Try copying and pasting the design into a new floor plan. To do this, drag your mouse pointer around the walls and items in the floor plan, then press CTRL+C to copy. Next, open a new file by going to File > New file, click on the new floor plan, and press CTRL+V to paste. If everything appears correctly, you can save this new design with a different name and continue working on it.
2 - If the issue continues, it’s a good idea to update your catalog database. You can access the maintenance tools by searching for "Maintenance tools" in the Start menu. Once open, use the "Update database" option to refresh your catalog database.
3 - If the problem still isn’t resolved, it might be due to compatibility issues between the file and the version of the software installed on your computer. For example, if the file was created with a newer version than the one you’re using, this could cause problems. In that case, please visit this article to learn how to download the latest version of the software: How to download the software and latest releases – Design
