If you're using Design Live software and the Effects options on the Ribbon aren't working, the issue might be related to your Nvidia graphics card driver.
The first step is to find out if your computer has an NVIDIA graphics card. Here's how to check quickly:
Right-click on the taskbar at the bottom of your screen and select "Task Manager" or press Ctrl+Shift+Esc.
Go to the Performance tab (click More details if you don't see it).
Under GPU you should see the manufacturer and model of your graphics card. If it says Nvidia, then you have an Nvidia graphics card.
If you have an Nvidia graphics card, follow these steps to fix the issue:
- Close Design Live software if it's open.
- Launch the Cyncly Maintenance Tools.
In the search bar of the Windows Start menu, type Maintenance Tools 14 and press Enter. - Right-click on the System check utility within Cyncly Maintenance Tools and select Run Nvidia Driver Fix.
- Close the Cyncly Maintenance Tools and relaunch Design Live software.
- Open your design and generate a Perspective View.
