PLEASE NOTE that dimensions for items will always display with the measurement with which the catalog was created. For example, Sample F will always display in Imperial and Sample M will always display in Metric regardless of the preference set.
To change unit of measure for all drawings
Note: This will affect all new drawings going forward.
From Metric to Imperial:
- Right click on an empty space on your Floorplan and select Display Settings > Work Area. Set the Display Measures In field to Imperial – inches only (22").
- Next, go to File Preferences and select Display Tab Schemes. Verify that the Unit radio button is checked to Imperial – inches only (22") as well.
- Close and re-open Design.
From Imperial to Metric:
- Right click on an empty space on your Floorplan and select Display Settings > Work Area. Set the Display Measures In field to Metric - millimeters (559).
- Next, go to File Preferences and select Display Tab Schemes. Verify that Unit radio button is set to Metric - millimeters (559) as well.
- Close and re-open Design.
