Warning patterns tab

Use the Warning Patterns tab to define warning patterns that alert you to invalid design patterns.

  • To display warning patterns as you design, in the Warning Patterns tab, select the Display check box for the warning patterns.

  • To change the color of a particular warning pattern, click the Color arrow for the warning pattern and choose the new color. To use another color, click Other to open the Colors dialog box.


  • Colliding Items Pattern     alerts you when items collide in your design.

    The following figure provides an example of colliding items.


  • Also, when the cursor moves over the collided items, a pop-up displays them on the lower right corner, as shown in the following figure.



  • Rules Advisory Pattern alerts you when design conflicts are encountered according to the Assistants. See Use the design assistants for more information.
    The following figure provides an example of items that do not conform to the design rules according to the Assistants.



  • Invalid Sections Pattern alerts you when countertop or trim sections have invalid dimensions or are missing cuts.
    The following figure provides an example of a countertop section that is missing a cut. 



  • Invalid Items Pattern alerts you when items on your design are no longer available or need to be switched.
    The following figure provides an example of items that need to be switched because they are obsolete.
