- You can save display settings as schemes and make them accessible for other designs.
- You can also have more than one scheme per design. For example, you might not want to display all dimensions on the floor plan, or you might want to assign a specific color to appliances to make them easily identifiable on the elevation.

You can also set display settings for a specific item such as a cabinet, wall group, note, or shape.
Complete the following steps to copy your schemes to Design version 14:
1. Open a Windows file explorer and browse the Config folder for the earlier version:
C:\ProgramData\2020\Design\13\Config
2. Select all your own schemes and copy them.
3. Open another Windows file explorer and browse the Config folder (Version 14):

4. Paste the copied Schemes there.
5. Open Design and open the Preferences under the FILE tab.
6. Select Display Tabs Schemes and choose your Schemes.

7. Click OK and open a new design.
