How to change the wording on contracts

  1. Click the Windows Start button.
     
  2. Do a search for Windows Explorer.
     
  3. Browse to the following location 
    Local Disk (C:) > Program Files > Cyncly > Design > 14 > 2020Reports
     
  4. Right click on the file Contract.sta
    Note: The file can also appear as Contract (without the .sta) - this depends if the file extensions are enabled.
     
  5. Click on Open.
     
  6. If the file is not associated to any programs, a window will appear. Click the radio button Select a program from a list of installed programs and click OK.
     

  7. In the Open with window, select Notepad or Microsoft Word to open the Contract file and then click OK.

     

  8. Make the desired changes in the document, such as wording or the percentage of the interest charge, and save the file.
     
  9. The updated document will appear when running the Contract report in Design Flex from Presentation > Reports > Contract.

If you’re unable to save changes directly:

  • Save the edited file to another location (e.g., Desktop)
  • Then move it back into the 2020Reports folder and replace the original file
