The file paths that you specify as below will be activated after you close and then reopen Design. They indicate where Design-related files are located on your computer.
To define file paths, complete the following steps:
- In the FILE menu, select Preferences.
- In the Preferences dialog box, select the File Paths pane.
- Type a path in the Location field or click the Browse button
and select the path in the Browse for Folder dialog box.

Where you want to save all the design-related files and rendering files. All files are saved locally by default under documents and folder 2020 Files. Note: All design files are stored on your PC, this leaves you at risk of losing files if the PC is lost, damaged or stolen. Consider doing regular backups for disaster recovery. |
| Design Flex .kit files | Users with Flex enabled will store designs to the Flex platform. For information on how to move your existing designs to the Flex platform, click here. |

| Catalog files | Path for the main catalog database. |
| Title block logo | Path for the image file included in the title block of printed Floor Plans, Elevations, Item Lists, renderings, and Drawing Layouts. |
