If you work with manufacturer catalogs from different countries or price designs in various currencies, use the Currency settings to select a default currency and to specify the preferred format for any currency.
To access the Currency settings, in the FILE menu, select Preferences. In the Preferences dialog box, select Currency, then click Advanced>>
Assign a default currency for all new designs
Select the currency code from the drop-down list of New designs. The currency that you select here will become valid when you create a new design.
Change the default currency for the current design
Select the currency code from the drop-down list of Current design.
Change the format of an existing currency
Select the format required from the drop-down fields in the Format section:
To change the currency symbol
In the Currency symbol field, specify the symbol that identifies the currency of a particular country or region, for example, $, £, €.
To change the Decimal symbol
In the Decimal symbol field, specify the symbol that separates the integers from the fractional digits, for example - 12.34 or 12,34.
To change the Grouping symbol
In the Grouping symbol field, specify the symbol that groups the digits in large currency values, for example - 1,234,457 or 1.234.457.
To change the number of digits after the decimal symbol
In the Digits after decimal symbol field, specify the number of digits to appear after the decimal symbol in a currency value. You can choose from zero to three digits after the decimal symbol, for example - 123, 123.4, 123.45, or 123.456.
To change the Format for a positive value
In the Format for the positive value field, specify how the program displays positive currency values. The asterisk (*) represents the currency symbol.
To change the Format for a negative value
In the Format for negative value field, specify how the program displays negative currency values. The asterisk (*) represents the currency symbol, for example -€1.234,99 or $1,234.99-.
