Released on 04.30.2026
Design Flex 14.9 introduces new tools to improve visual quality, speed up everyday workflows, and give you more control when working with Cloud content. This release also includes a wide range of stability improvements and fixes.
Lighting presets with the Cycles render engine
Lighting controls for the Cycles render engine are now easier to use, with all settings consolidated into a single panel and four new presets to help you get started quickly:
- Default – Your familiar lighting view, configurable in preferences
- Midday – Optimized for spaces with natural light and open exposure
- Sunset – Adds warmth and contrast for more atmospheric scenes
- Studio – Simulates fully staged interior lighting, ideal for smaller spaces
You can start with a preset and then fine‑tune the lighting using sliders or percentage values to achieve the look you want. For more information on how to make changes to the light settings click here.
Clearer ribbon icons
Ribbon icons across Design Flex have been refreshed to make them clearer and more visually distinct. This update improves recognizability, creates a more consistent visual language, and helps you find commands faster.
Search for tools
A new Search box has been added at the top of Design Flex to help you quickly locate tools and commands.
If you are unsure where a command is located in the ribbon, start typing its name and select it directly from the results to keep your workflow moving. For more information on how to use the search function click here.
In‑app feedback
You can now share feedback directly from within Design Flex using the new Feedback button.
This makes it quicker to submit suggestions, report issues, or share ideas without leaving the application. Your feedback goes straight to the product team and helps shape future improvements. For more information on how to submit your feedback click here.

Improved 3D elevations for Cloud cabinetry
Cloud Cabinetry now appears cleaner and more consistent in elevation views. These improvements align Cloud items with a more consistent architectural standard, allowing door styles to stand out more clearly and creating more presentation‑ready elevations.
Repair all Cloud items
Repairing Cloud items is now faster and easier.
Previously, Cloud items in an error state had to be repaired one at a time. You can now repair all affected Cloud items in a single action, reducing repetitive steps and helping you recover more quickly when items fail to load. For more information on how to repair Cloud items click here.
Clearer Cloud item thumbnails
Thumbnail images for Cloud items have been improved to make them easier to see and recognize.
Lighter items are now more visible against light backgrounds, helping you identify and select products more quickly in the Cloud Browser.
Additional filters in the Cloud Browser
New filters are available in the Cloud Browser to help you find specific types of products more easily.
To keep the focus on catalogs, the News feed has been removed from the Cloud Browser.

Multi‑Shop Customer Export
This update introduces a faster, more efficient way for Admin users to export customer information when working across multiple shops.
Previously, users had to repeat the export process for each shop individually. The new rule means that the export will contain the contacts from all shops that you have access to. This removes manual effort by generating a single combined export file. For more information click here.
