Check our quick video to see how quickly you can change the auto-save settings
Make the program automatically save your design at a specific interval
- Go to File Preferences Overall Settings.
- Select the File Recovery checkbox; in the Every field enter the interval between auto saves (minimum 5 minutes). Type the number directly in the field or use the arrow keys.
If you exit the program in an unusual way (except when you save a file), the system creates and stores an .asd (Autosave Design) file of your plan. The next time you access the program, a message appears offering to load it. If you click Yes, the auto saved plan is loaded. If you click No, the .asd file is removed and cannot be retrieved at a later time.
- The Overall Settings pane also allows you to select default options, such as a default document type or a default printer, and to activate the auto save feature.
Note: The autosave will be triggered once the customer has done the first save manually.
