Dimensions tab (Wall Properties dialog box)

The options available under the Dimensions tab vary according to the level that you choose (Wall Group, Wall, or Section).

Complete the following steps to change dimensions using the Dimensions tab:

1. In the left pane of the Wall Properties dialog box, select the Wall Group, the Wall, or the Section that you want to change.
   
   To apply changes to specific wall groups, walls or sections, press the CTRL key while making your selections.

• If you choose a Wall or a Section, you can also change the Length of the selected placement zone. You can also determine if the placement zone needs to be Outside or Inside. Also, the length can be changed from the beginning or from the end.
  
  
• To actually change the length of the selected placement zone for the current wall/construction line, type the new length in the Length field. You can also use the left arrows to select integers and the right arrows to select fractional values.
  
  
• To change the Height, Thickness, or Top Align(ment), double-click in the corresponding field and type the new value. You can also use the left arrows to select integers and the right arrows to select fractional values.
  
  
• To create a sloped ceiling, clear the Use same height for both ends check box and then follow the instructions in Create a cathedral or sloped ceiling.

2. To apply your changes without closing the Wall Properties dialog box, click Apply.
   
   To apply your changes and close the Wall Properties dialog box, click OK.
   
   To reset the values to the same values as one level up (wall or group), click Reset.
   
   To ignore your modifications, click Cancel.
