Complete the following steps to select List or Tree mode in the Display Settings dialog box:
-
In the Modes pane of the General tab, select List to display items in a list format with the columns shown in the following figure.
Note: Select Tree if you want to be able to collapse/expand add-ons, parts, and assemblies in addition to several available columns. -
When the warning appears, click Yes if your previous display settings were already saved or if you do not mind overwriting them; otherwise, click No.
-
Click OK.
Numbering of items in list mode
If one or more items were assigned add-ons or sections (countertops and trims), you can display them as subitems (subnumbers) of the main items or as separate items (continuous numbering). The following options are available in the Display Settings dialog box only in List Mode:
Select Follow hierarchy to list add-ons and countertop and trim sections as subline numbers. For example, if a cabinet has an appliance garage as an add-on and this cabinet is on line 3, the appliance garage will be listed as line 3.1.
Select Assign new line number to list any subitem with a new line number. Using the previous example, the appliance garage add-on would be listed as line number 4 under line number 3, which is the cabinet.

In the Display Settings dialog box, click Save As.
