Use the same item number in all legends

You can use the same item number of a legend across Floor Plans, Elevation Views, and Reports.  

For example, if you have a cabinet labeled 14 in the Elevation view, it will keep the same label in the Floor plan and Reports.

1. In the File menu, select Preferences.
   
    

2. In the Preferences dialog box, select the Legend pane.
   
    

3. Select the Use same item number in all views check box. Click OK.
