Show/hide sections
Depending on the Item List mode you are in, you can choose to show or hide various sections and subsections in a tab.
If your tab is set to List mode (see article Configuration of the item list tab), you can choose to show/hide the following sections or subsections in a tab:

Prices to show the total for the selected item(s) (selected while pressing the SHIFT or CTRL key) and the overall total.
If your tab is set to Tree mode (see article Display items in list mode or tree mode), you can choose to show/hide additional sections or subsections in a tab, such as assemblies and parts. See also Expand/Collapse Components.
How to show or hide sections
Complete the following steps in the Display Settings>General tab>Sections pane to show or hide sections:

Expand the section or subsection that you want to show or hide.

Select the sections, subsections, and components that you want to show.

Click OK.
Show/hide columns
If your tab is set to List mode (see Display items in list mode or tree mode), in the Columns pane of the Display Settings> General tab, you can choose to show/hide the following columns:
If your tab is set to Tree mode (see Display items in list mode or tree mode), the following columns are available:
For both modes, the process for showing a column is the same. Select the check box for the column(s) you want to display in your tab and then click OK.
Show/hide redundant assembly parts
If you are working in Tree mode, you can show assembly parts in both the Parts section and the Assemblies section of an item, or you can avoid listing redundant parts in the Parts section.
To use the following options, you must have enabled the Assemblies and Parts options in the Sections pane of the Display Settings>General tab (see show/hide sections above).
In the Assembly Parts pane, select Show in Assembly list only to show item parts only under Assemblies.

Select Show in Assembly & Parts list to list parts under Parts and under Assemblies.

Filter specific information
The Filter tab of the Display Settings dialog box allows you to specify particular expressions (keywords or characters) to include or exclude in your Item List tab.
Complete the following steps to filter information in your tab:

In the Filter tab, click in the first blank cell of the Incl/Excl column and select Include or Exclude from the list.

In the same row, click in the cell of the Set Type column and select the section that the expression will apply to from the list.

In the same row, click in the cell of the Columns column and select the column that the expression will apply to from the list.

In the same row, click in the cell of the Operator column and select an operator from the list. The following table describes the Operator options.
Equal |
if the expression must match the values in the selected column. |
Not equal |
if the expression must differ from the values in the selected column. |
Greater than |
if the expression must be greater than the values in the selected column. |
Lower than |
if the expression must be less than the values in the selected column. |
Greater or equal |
if the expression must be greater or equal to the values in the selected column. |
Lower or equal |
if the expression must be lower or equal to the values in the selected column. |

In the Value field, type the expression (keyword or character) that you want to include or exclude from the Item List tab.
To clear the current filter, click the Delete button in the far-right column.
