Complete the following steps to draw connected walls and construction lines with 90-degree angles:

In the FILE menu, select Preferences.

In the Preferences dialog box, select the Walls/Construction Lines pane.

In the Draw Mode section, select the Draw walls using 90-degree angles check box and then click OK to close the Preferences dialog box.

In the Room Layout ribbon, click the wall Continuous button or the construction line Continuous button.

Click in the floor area to begin drawing the wall/construction line. The Edit Shape ribbon appears.
The following buttons in the Edit Shape ribbon determine the wall justification:
Draw Using Front Dimension. This is the default wall justification. See Front dimension wall justification for an example.
Draw Using Center Dimension. See Center dimension wall justification for an example.
Draw Using Back Dimension. See Back dimension wall justification for an example. -
Extend the wall/construction line to the required length and click to confirm, or type the length value in the Placement box and press ENTER.

To add another wall/construction line, repeat step 6.

To stop adding walls/construction lines, press the ESC key.
