The new door and window wizard provides designers the flexibility to create custom doors and window frame/glass combinations. The wizard is available in the generic Design ROOM catalog that can be accessed with the Openings & Obstacles icon or with the Local Browser list.
To configure a window before placing it, follow these steps:
In the ROOM LAYOUT ribbon, click Openings and Obstacles.
In the Openings & Obstacles dialog box, double-click Windows.
Double-click Window Wizard.
Double-click WINDOWWIZ.
or click the Place button.
Click in the placement zone of the wall where the window will be placed.
When the Attributes for WINDOW dialog box opens, assign the door variables as they are presented, then click OK to place the door.
