How to insert a Design file

When you work on a design, you can import layouts from another saved design (.kit file), quote (.qwk file), or Special from SPIWood (.spw) file.

Complete the following steps to import layouts from another saved design:

1. In FILE menu, click Insert Design File.
   
   

2. In the Look in field of the Insert Design File dialog box, select the drive and/or folder that contains the file.
   
   

3. Select the Show preview check box if you want to see a preview image of the selected drawing.

4. In the Files of type field, select the file type.
   
   

5. Select the file to insert and then click Insert. Alternatively, you can double-click the file.
   
   

6. When the outline of the drawing appears on the Floor Plan area, position it on the current design and then click to set.
