How to setup Design as a restricted user V. 13.*

Important: The steps in the following article are intended for IT service support professionals only.

These are the steps to set up Design for a user that will be running as a restricted user on the machine.

Note: This applies to version 13.*

1. For the first step, the user must be an Administrator for the configuration part
   
   
2. Go to the C:\ drive and give Full Control Permissions to the user on the

3. Open the Registry Editor
   
   
4. Expand HKEY_CURRENT_USER, expand Software, and right click on 2020 select Permissions and grant Full Control
   
   
5. Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, expand Software, and right click on 2020 select Permissions and grant Full Control
   
   
6. Go to the Windows Start menu and open the Maintenance Tools, click on Repair COM
   
   
   
   
7. Open Design Live
