Room layout ribbon

To draw any number of walls, an L shape, U shape or closed layout using single or double-sided placement zones. See Add walls and construction lines.

To draw any number of construction lines, an L shape, U shape or closed layout using single- or double-sided placement zones. See Add walls and construction lines.

These buttons are active if you set a default door and window in the Walls/Construction Lines settings in Preferences. Also see Place a basic door and Place a basic window.

To add windows, doors, obstacles that represent beams or similar items, reserved areas (e.g., to prevent an area from receiving any items) or wall cutouts. See Openings and obstacles.

To return to the room Floor Plan if you happen to click the Room Layout tab while in the Item List or the Drawing Layout view.

To add a wall Elevation view, either front or side, and to delete such views. See Add Elevation area, Add Side Elevation area, Delete Current Elevation area and Delete All Elevation Areas. To add multiples walls in a single elevation, see Add Custom Elevation.

To choose a display scheme for the current Floor Plan or Elevation view; also to change display settings for the current view. See Display Settings.
